Just a little rambling on a slow day. Watched a couple business jets leave Dupage as I was out walking the dog. First was a loud racket made by a fast climbing Lear, possible 24. Following not long after was what looked like maybe a Hawker 400 (much quieter). The racket the Lear made reminded me of the building shaking, window rattling noise of watching B52's leaving the old Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda, MI, but of course, much greater! Use to call it the "sound of freedom"

Later spotted a large two engine wide body, not sure make, making an upwind turn for O'Hare. When it made its turn, its angle of attack looked like it was climbing, but knew it was just turning on the pattern. It was much too slow to be departing.
